Along with building a new handling course at its Experience Center in Atlanta, Porsche has undertaken a massive expansion of its aptly named Porsche Classic Factory Restoration. Since 2018, the restoration and parts division has meticulously rejuvenated Porsche models that have been out of production for at least 10 years.
More recently, Porsche Classic joined forces with Exclusive Manufaktur, the automaker’s bespoke division, for Sonderwunsch, a program dedicated to creating one-off vehicles that are available with the likes of changes to the likes of the paint color and trim pieces, as well as tweaks to a given vehicle’s powertrain and suspension. While we were in Atlanta to check out the new track, we were also given a tour of the new Porsche Classic building and saw some truly special vehicles. Read on to see the highlights.
